After an 8 year courtship Kate certainly has had plenty of time to think about what she wants her royal wedding dress to look like.

We hope that she ha complette control over her choice and is not swayed, but naturally the world’s biggest designers are falling over themselves to be the one who gets the gig.
Popular opinion is that Kate will have to go for a British designer – patriotism and all that – and Bruce Oldfield and Amanda Wakeley are currently leading the pack with the bookies.
And who can blame them? Whoever it is will be set for life. Almost a billion people watched Prince Charles marry Diana and experts reckon over four billion could tune in to this one.
The gown David and Elizabeth Emanuel created for Princess Diana in 1981 may look like an exploding marshmallow to us now but women everywhere copied it for years and it made the Emanuels international names.
