Amanda and Jono chose a very home grown wedding in Ormskirk, with handmade cards, decorations and wedding cupcakes, all held in a friends' garden.
We asked Amanda and Jono about some of the north west wedding suppliers they used
Where did you get married and what made you pick that venue?
Photographer - We didn't have an official photographer - we wanted lots of 'candid' shots and didn't want to pay a fortune. A friend of my in-laws enjoys photography and has a decent camera, so we asked him to take lots of photos. And I have one or two friends who are quite talented photographers! Afterwards we got everyone to give us a CD of their pictures and picked the best to make a photo book of the day - www.photobox.co.uk
Wedding Rings - Tony English
Flowers - Jono's Mum did all of the wedding flowers for us
Bridesmaid Dresses - Coast. Very helpful shop assistants who phoned round stores to try to find us the missing sizes.

Favours - Surfboard wax for the men - our honeymoon was to Hawaii, and that gave the theme fo
r the whole day really. For the ladies, they were supposed to take the table decorations (small cube vases filled with orchids, gerberas) but my husband forgot to announce it in his speech. So the wonderful bridesmaids managed to tell a few guests, but we still have a lot of the vases left!Hair and Beauty - The brilliant Stuart James Hair Design! Cathie was fantastic and came to my house to do me, my Mum and my bridesmaid's hair. She was fab!
What readings did you use and where did you find them?
