We asked Beth and Alan, the super talented and passionate owners of Dig Food in Manchester, what their top tips are for a wonderful wedding day......
Where did you get married and what made you pick that venue?
Carlton Club, Whalley Range- It is Local, cheap and the very friendly staff let us do what we wanted with it.
There is outside space too, but you've gotta keep off the bowling green though!
Tell us about some of the wedding suppliers you used
Photographer - Alan's Dad!
Caterer - A friend, who is incredible, plus ordered bread & quiches from Barbakan Deli, Chorlton & Loads of cheese from 'Swaledale Cheese'
Wedding Rings - I chose a white gold and diamonds ring by Rochelle Dodson (The diamonds I used were taken out of a ring my Grandma gave me)

Flowers - Blossom, Chorlton - Utterly brilliant
Bridesmaid Dresses - Coast- the bridesmaids bought their own dresses.
Honeymoon - We Flew to San Fran-hired a car-road trip across USA, visiting many relatives, and flew out of Boston 5 weeks later. We booked it all independently-flight with STA travel
What readings did you use and where did you find them?
No readings-but we did write our own vows.
Who designed your wedding dress and where was it from?
I got it fromVirgin Brides- It was Maggie Sottero-'Dynasty'
What music did you have during the day?
For The Ceremony- Sweet Sixteen by The Fureys 2 friends (guitar & banjo) played us down the aisle. (Makes me cry just listening to it)
For the First Dance - Django Reinhardt-Shine - on computer and amp we choreographed our own upbeat dance.
Friends bands played & then djs.
