Caroline and Phil got married in July 2008 at the stunning Adlington Hall in Cheshire.
What made you pick that venue?
We picked Adlington Hall because it has a great reputation, beautiful location, handy for Wilmslow where the church was, amazing staff and service (they led us through everything and made it all straightforward and easy) even down to supplying a lady to take coats and book taxis! Also another selling point was that I would be the only bride on the day.
Tell us about some of the wedding suppliers you used
Photographer – Keith Goodwin, Disley – fantastic photographer, brought an assistant on the day so you get photos from two viewpoints. Friendly but firm enough to get everyone to look at the camera. You could get images no a CD as well as an album so great for reprints.
Caterer – Adlington Hall supplied the catering
Flowers – The Wild Bunch, Macclesfield – they did a brilliant job – beautiful bouquets and venue dressing, reasonably priced, friendly.
Bridesmaid Dresses – Angel Brides, Horsforth, Leeds
Ushers Suits – Moss Bros
Mother of the Bride Outfit – John Lewis, Cheadle
Honeymoon – We booked this through Trailfinders, 2 week safari and beach in Tanzania and Zanzibar

Bible readings through the Church, and On Your Wedding Day.
Who designed your wedding dress?
Dress designed by Augusta Jones
What music did you have during the day?
i) The Ceremony – Organist at the Church and pianist on arrival at Adlington Hall – Guy Porteous, amazing!
ii) First Dance – Let’s Stay Together, Al Green
What would be your Top Wedding Tip?
Keep your diary up-to-date with appointments and keep lots of lists – enjoy the day and remember little things will go wrong but it will still be amazing!
