After months of planning and venue hunting, Tracy and Steve married at Sefton Park Palm House in December.
They finally decided on Sefton Palm House for it's inherent beauty and wow factor.
Although they had heard that the Palm House can become a bit of a greenhouse in summer months, they were happy that they did not have that problem to worry about with their winter wedding.
Tracy's List of Wedding Suppliers
Chapman Holmes - Our events organisers and caterers. We worked with a guy called Matthew who did everything for us and was an absolute star! He let me stay in control of plans without making me feel like a mad bride, and showed me so much support and encouragement.....even on the eve of the wedding he text to say that everything was under control!
Atmosferik - These guys were great! I knew that I wanted to keep it simple and make my own album, and they were more than happy to let me keep a CD of photographs to work with myself.
Heals Manchester - This is where I got my wedding album. It is beautiful soft leather that I know wont date.
Beverly Lister - I decided on a Beverly Lister wedding dress when I walked into Cloud 9 at The Wedding House in Liverpool and the assistant said she had the dress for me! Even though I tried on hundreds of dresses afterwards I went back to The Wedding House and bought the dress she suggested....it goes to show the experts know best!
Crosby Beach - For the place settings we used purple pebbles which I sourced on Crosby beach, with a hole drilled through them I tied raffia and a silver beads, and had the name of the wedding guest on one side and the date of the wedding on the reverse.
Tracy's Top Wedding Tip
Tracy and Steve had lived together for a number of years before the wedding and felt they had everything they needed for their home, so instead of asking for shop vouchers they set up a Honeymoon wish List.
We love this idea! It meant that people could buy a gift of a £10 cocktail, right up to a £200 flight.
Luckily Tracy and Steve also had an amazing bridesmaid who co-ordinated this for them.
Rather than thanks you cards, they sent specific thank you postcards along the way, thanking individual guests for their particular contribution.
