Angela and Antony chose the Marriot Hotel in Liverpool City Centre for their wedding celebration on May Bank Holiday. After a beautiful ceremony at St Bartholomew's Church in Roby they jumped into their vintage cars and headed for a wedding reception to remember at the Marriot.
Angela's List of Wedding Suppliers
Cloud 9 – I chose my dress from Cloud 9 at The Wedding House in Liverpool. I had a certain idea about what I wanted in mind, but walked past my dress initially, until the Sales Assistant suggestd that I should give the Romantica Wedding Dress a go. It was perfect!
Atmosferik – Tom at Atmosferik was brilliant. He had a real eye for capturing the moment and got some great shots of us all, especially at St George's Hall Gardens and by the wedding cars. He must have taken about 100 posed shots and 200+ repotage images.
Heritage Motors in Woolton – For our wedding cars
Woolton Flower Shop – For our bouquets and other wedding flowers for the day.
Hen Party – We went to Sapporo in Liverpool. It was a great atmosphere and a good laugh.

Angela's Top Tips
For the table plans we used flower names. We had Lily, Snowdrop, Freesia, Carnation, Rose, Sweet Pea and Poppy. The Marriot put our main table plan on a display board, which was a great help.
The Marriot announced us into the dining room for the first time as 'Mr and Mrs McGowan', which was lovely touch.
For wedding gifts from us to the bridal party we just stuck to vouchers for their favourite shops, so HMV, Waterstones, John Lewis. We thought they would appreciate them more than a token gift that they might never use.
A nice visual touch was are confetti cones, which we made out of music manuscript paper.
Antony's Top Tip
Keep busy the night before. Me, My Best Man and Ushers went to see a film the night before and then I kepy myself so busy I slept like a log and didn't give myself any time to think about anythign going wrong!
Also, don't imagine that your speech will be a flop. Everyone in the room is on your side and want you to make an enjoyable speech, so just relax and get on with it!
