Sending out a gift list with your wedding invitations is a popular way to let your wedding guests know what your tastes are and what you would like.
The gift list is one of the classic features of a wedding. Gifts are given to the bride and groom as a token of love and a way of wishing them good luck. Today, there are a variety of different ways to compile a gift list. Remember to allow some gifts for all pockets and don’t make the guests have to search to the ends of the earth to find your gift.
Wedding Gift Lists Held By A Shop
Many high street retailers including John Lewis, Debenhams, BHS and Marks & Spencer will look after your gift list for you, providing of course that all the items on it are from their shop.
This method is often the handiest for your guests as they can access the gift list either in their local branch or on the internet. It also means that items are marked off when they are bought, lessening the chances of two sets of relatives buying you the same toaster.

Donating to Charity
You may feel you have enough household goods already without dozens more. So what about asking your guests to donate to a charity of your choice? Justgiving allows you to set up your own fundraising web page where guests can make their donations. Or you could simply send them the address of the charity of your choosing.
